TrueSecret is operated by Marronbells LLP (“TrueSecret”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and mobile app, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Account details: name, email address, phone number and a password (stored only in hashed form).
Shopping details: shipping address, cart contents and order history, which are processed through our commerce provider, Shopify.
Preferences you share: skin type, skin tone, makeup style and answers to our beauty questionnaires, used to personalise recommendations.
Verification documents: if you apply as a student, the college ID card image you upload, used only to verify eligibility.
Waitlist, contact and careers submissions: the details you enter in those forms, including any files or videos you attach to a careers application.
Usage data: pages viewed, device and browser information, collected through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
To create and manage your membership, process orders, arrange delivery and returns, and provide customer support.
To personalise offers and recommendations, verify eligibility for member programmes, and review waitlist and careers applications.
To send service messages such as order updates and, where you have opted in, notifications about offers.
To keep the service secure, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.
If you use the AI analysis feature, the camera is used on your device to produce the analysis. We ask permission before accessing your camera or photo library, and you can withdraw it at any time in your device settings.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate TrueSecret, such as Shopify (commerce and orders), Vercel (hosting and file storage), our database provider, Google (analytics) and delivery partners, and where required by law.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account, which permanently removes your profile, preferences and unused vouchers. Order and invoice records may be retained where required for tax and legal purposes.
You can also request access, correction or deletion by emailing customercare@truesecret.in.
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections and hashed passwords. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
TrueSecret is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date above shows when it was last revised.
